This page describes how to use Zapier to send completed leads from CallFast to your other tools. You can also use Zapier to send lead data in to your CallFast projects. See more about using Zapier to send data in to CallFast here.
Zapier lets you send completed lead data to over 7,000 other software tools. This is a great way to sync your completed leads with your CRM or sales tools.
To send your completed lead data from CallFast to another tool with Zapier follow these instructions:
Create a new Zap and choose CallFast as the trigger. Set the trigger event to be "New Lead". This means that whenever a new lead gets a "Completed" status in CallFast it will trigger the Zap.
Next choose the project in CallFast you want to base this trigger on. Only leads from the chosen project will sync with this Zap.
Finally, test the trigger by pulling in some completed leads from your project.
This step is optional depending on how you want to configure your Zap. However, for this example we want to send a completed lead from CallFast to Salesforce. The lead will already exist in Salesforce as our form provider automatically syncs with Salesforce. So we need an additional step to find the existing lead in Salesforce before we update the lead with the data from CallFast.
If the lead doesn't exist in the tool you're sending the lead data to then you can skip this "Search" step and move stright to the "Action" step.
I'm going to add the app "Salesforce" and choose the action event of "Find Record".
Then I'm going to configure the search to find leads based on the email field. And I'll use the email data from CallFast to find the lead that we're sending from CallFast to Salesforce. To add th
Then test the search to make sure it works successfully.
Then you need to set up an action to update the lead in your chosen app. For this example, Salesforce but you can choose any other tool you use.
In this example I'm going to use the Salesforce action event of "Update Lead". This will update a lead that exists within Salesforce with the lead data from CallFast.
We'll configure the Action to update the lead that was found in the search step of this Zap. However if you didn't include a search step in your Zap then you can simply use the data from CallFast to create a new lead in your tool.
We'll add the CallFast data to the configuration step of the Action so that the CallFast data populates when the action runs.
Finally, test the Action to make sure it works as expected.
If the test works as you expect, you can now publish your Zap to make it live and active.
I would also recommend testing the Zap flow by sending a new lead in to CallFast and make sure the Zap works as expected and the data is posted to your other tool.
Remember to rename your Zap in Zapier to keep things well organised.
